ChadSan in the Spotlight – Jacques Boulet

How did you get into the tax side of accounting?
While I’ve always had a fascination with mathematics and the UK’s financial system, my father has been a major inspiration for pursuing the tax side of accounting. Hearing and reading about his experiences, as well as meeting some of his colleagues helped solidify my decision.
What do you find most rewarding about working with small businesses and entrepreneurs?
Seeing the results of the time and effort put into helping small businesses and entrepreneurs grow into the brands they envisioned is incredibly rewarding. Watching their progression and evolution of these is very rewarding.
What do you enjoy most about your role at ChadSan?
The workplace culture as a whole. From the technology innovations, such as Karbon, that have made the Tax return process easy and intuitive to follow through, to the encouragement by my colleagues to ask questions and develop new skills.
What are your hobbies or interests outside of work?
In my free time, I regularly play dodgeball, both socially and competitively. I’ve also been challenging myself to expand my culinary skills, while continuing to develop my 3D printing knowledge on the side.
