ChadSan in the Spotlight – Baily Glen
1. How did you become a bookkeeper?
I studied AAT at Sixth Form and enjoyed the challenge. When I left, I wanted to extend my knowledge so I looked for junior accounting roles that would help with my training.
2. If you weren’t an accountant, what would you have been?
Growing up the aim was always to be a rugby player, but as I got older, and the dream became more unrealistic I decided I want to work in Finance, so If I wasn’t an accountant I would have looked at going into an investment analysis role.
3. What’s the best business advice you were ever given?
I was always told just to stay organised. It sounds basic but if you keep track of your tasks and deadlines then you can easily stay on top of things and ensure nothing falls through the cracks.
4. What do you enjoy most about helping our clients?
I get a sense of accomplishment knowing I’m providing valuable assistance to our clients. It is a major motivation seeing our clients succeed and knowing I’m making a positive impact. It’s a very rewarding experience.
5. What is your favourite thing about working at ChadSan?
The team we have. Having a great team makes work feel more enjoyable and fulfilling. There has never been a time where I have felt out of place, and I feel like my opinion has been valued from day one.
